I'm Ziying He — a wellness explorer based in Singapore. Zenette is a space where I share what I'm learning, living, and wondering about: the body, home, ageing, and the quiet possibilities of AI.
Living with my gut
For years, my gut has been my most honest teacher. My personal journey with IBS and gut sensitivity has taken me through frustration, experimentation, and — eventually — a kind of curiosity. I've learned that the body often knows things the mind hasn't caught up with yet. This site began, in part, as a way to share that journey — not as advice, but as honest company for anyone navigating something similar.
Gentle practices
I have been practising Tai Chi for over ten years, and teaching it for several of those. What began as a search for movement that didn't exhaust me became something far more interesting: a practice of attention, of slowing down, of finding the edge between effort and ease. More recently, sound therapy has entered my life — a gentler, stranger companion. Together, these practices shape how I think about wellness: not as performance, but as presence.
At home, with you
A personal experience with caregiving opened a question I haven't been able to put down: how do we age well, at home, surrounded by the people and things we love? This led me to gerontology, to conversations about AI companionship, and to a growing interest in how technology — when it is designed with real humanity — might support rather than replace the warmth of connection.
Thoughtful AI
I am not a technologist. I am someone who uses AI thoughtfully in daily life and wonders, often, about what it means for how we live and relate. I'm drawn to the question of AI as a gentle presence — particularly for older adults, for those living alone, for anyone who could benefit from a patient, curious companion. These are the conversations I want to be part of.
This space
Zenette is where all of these threads come together. It's reflective, not prescriptive. Personal, not clinical. I write because I find clarity through writing, and because I suspect I'm not the only one sitting with these questions. If something here resonates, I'm glad. And if you'd like to connect — about Tai Chi, sound therapy, or anything else — please do reach out.
